Board, management and ownership structure
The board and management of our organization work closely together to ensure effective governance and sustainable growth. We emphasize a transparent ownership structure that promotes trust and accountability. Through our strategic management practices and diversified board, we ensure that we maintain the highest standards of good business ethics and value creation.
The company is currently owned by founder Terje Rødahl, who owns 60%, and CEO Sidsel Sæterøy, who owns 40%. Employees in the company will have the opportunity to join the ownership side during 2024 by purchasing individual shares.
History, growth and the road ahead
The company was established by entrepreneur Terje Rødahl in 2013, and has since then delivered quality services to the maritime industries. In the company's start-up year, the delivery was mostly marine services to offshore players in the Norwegian sector. In 2015, the first ocean monitoring center was completed and has since then monitored installations, cables and other assets at sea.
In 2019, Sidsel Sæterøy joined the ownership side and became the company's new CEO. A new strategy was then put in place with increased focus on maritime preparedness and recurring revenues through a subscription solution for preparedness and safety management systems for commercial vessels. In the following years, the company was reorganized and moved into new premises in a maritime industrial cluster in Kristiansund. The company embarked on an extensive scale-up period with several new hires and a targeted and strategic focus.
